Bipolar Disorder And The Houle Relationship Approach
I believe our mental health system is failing those who suffer from Bipolar Disorder due to the fact that the system is based on the so-called medical model: a false premise that mental illness is a biologically induced disease. To my way of thinking what is called mental illness is not a disease but rather learned human behavior.
My purpose in writing this is to offer an alternative explanation and course of possible treatment (my Houle Relationship Approach) for what is called mental illness including Bipolar Disorder.
